How do you make a horse tail bag out of a sock?
I know people do it. Everyone does it at my barn but they don’t have time to show me how! How long does the sock have to be and how do I cut it at the top so it can be tied. Thank you for your help
a long athletic sock works best. lay it out flat and cut the open end about 4 to 5 inches down. this will give you enough to tie it up with. then just braid the tail, and put it in the sock. pull one of the strips you cut through the top of the tail below the tailbone and tie it on.
