Horse Fly Repellent
Can you use citronella in horse fly repellent?
Yes, it makes a great repellent. I use it on my horses, as does everyone on our yard.
Mix:
1 part citronella oil
8.5 parts water
0.5 parts tea tree oil
The tea tree oil isn’t essential, but we put it in ours because it’s good for the skin. If you don’t use it, just supplement that 0.5 with water.
Give it a good shake and put it in a spray bottle!
